Purpose and data processed
Timed Promobar processes the shop domain, the access token provided by Shopify, the Promobar configuration, up to 20 configuration revisions and anonymous daily counts for impressions, clicks and closes. Shopify sessions may also contain the signed-in administrator's Shopify user ID, first and last name, email address, locale, and account-owner, collaborator and email-verification attributes. This data is processed for authentication, secure app operation, support, writing the configuration to the shop metafield and optional statistics.
Storefront data
The storefront does not set cookies. A close status triggered by the visitor is stored locally as a necessary convenience feature. Evergreen countdowns use local storage only after preferences consent. Neither value is sent to inventivo.
Statistics
When statistics are enabled and the visitor allows analytics processing, the storefront sends the shop domain, campaign ID, event type and a public signed shop token. Impressions are throttled per browser session and campaign. The application stores aggregated daily counts only. Sender addresses may be processed temporarily to prevent abuse but are not stored in statistics records.
Retention and deletion
Shop configuration, revisions, sessions and statistics remain stored while the app is installed. Shop data is deleted after uninstall or a Shopify deletion request. Shopify may deliver technical webhooks with a delay.
Processing and recipients
inventivo processes app data for the respective merchant. Shopify provides authentication, Admin API and app infrastructure. When support is configured, the merchant backend loads Crisp from Crisp IM SAS, 2 Boulevard de Launay, 44100 Nantes, France. Crisp processes IP addresses, browser data and voluntary chat content for support and may set cookies. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in direct merchant support. Crisp is not loaded in the storefront. A data processing agreement can be requested at hallo@inventivo.de.
